Shippers’ Council Mourns Over Death Of Justice Kafarati

Management of the Nigerian Shippers’Council on Wednesday, expressed sadness over the sudden demise of former Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Hon. Justice Abdul Kafarati.

 

In  a statement  signed by the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the council, Barrister Hassan Bello   commiserated with the family, friends, the Judiciary and the country over the death of the late justice.

 

 

Bello noted that  the late judge will be missed greatly following his immense contributions to the judiciary ,  wise counsel, depth of humility and vast network of judicial connection which greatly lessened burdened, and broaden the impact of the seminar.

Bello noted that during his time as the Chairman of the International Maritime Seminar for Judges Organizing Committee, a flagship programme of the Council, Late Justice Kafarati, brought energy, enthusiasm and dynamism to the Seminar series for which Nigerian Shippers’ Council remains indebted to him.

The statement reads in bits:” Board, Management and Staff of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, like most Nigerians, are saddened by the sudden passing of the former Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Hon. Justice Abdul Kafarati.

“Many people would miss the late Justice Kafarati for his erudite Judicial scholarship, and we at the Nigerian Shippers’ Council will particularly miss his wise counsel, depth of humility and vast network of Judicial connection which greatly lessened our burdened, and broaden the impact of the seminar.
