Senator Magnus Abe Emerges Rivers SDP Governorship Candidate.

Rivers state southeast Senator , Magnus Abe has joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP), even as the former senator has emerged Governorship candidate of the party.

Senator Abe polled thirty votes to become the unopposed candidate of the party at the primary monitored by INEC senior officer Emmanuel Isong and other security agencies.

Abe was represented at the primary by his proposed running mate, Patricia Ogbonnaya.

Announcing Senator Abe as the party candidate, the chairman SDP electoral committee Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim said Abe was declared winner after polling thirty votes to become the party,s candidate.

He stressed that Abe possesses the quality of becoming the governor of Rivers State.
