Seafarers Union  Felicitates With New Transportation Minister

Seafarers union, the Nigerian Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) has described the new minister of Transportation, Engr. Mu’azu Sambo as the right man for the job

The National President of the association, Engr. Bob Joseph Yousou in a statement made available to the press by the Secretary General, Comrade John Okpono , with the experience of the minister in maritime, he will take the industry to a greater height.

The group of senior seafarers added that his experience as the Area Manager, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), towers him above others as the best man for the job.

The release stated that “The NMNOWTSSA under the leadership of chief Engr. Bob Joseph Yousuo wish to felicitates with Comrade Mu’azu Sambo on his new appointment as the substantive Minister of Transportation.

“He is just a round peg in a round hole. The man the cap fit. With his vast knowledge in Maritime sector, having served in the capacity as Area Manager, Lagos Area office, National Inland waterways Authority (NIWA) for years.

“A great politician with high pedigree. With his antecedents he will deliver as his words remain his bond. We welcome him on board as one of our own and congratulate him for this new enviable position as the Minister of Transportation, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“He knows the terrain, he worked in the terrain and therefore he will deliver by the special grace of God the ministry of transport from it’s current position to a greater heights.

“Once again we say a big congratulations and keep the flag flying as we are solidly behind you honourable minister.
