Rohr Drops Mikel,Moses , Ahead Of Seychelles ,Egypt Games

Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr has dropped  captain, John Obi Mikel who is currently playing regularly with Middlesbrough,ahead of this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Pirates of Seychelles and the friendly against Egypt’s Pharaohs, both taking place in Asaba, Delta State.

The Super Eagles coach also left out  the pair of  Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho and Fenerbache of Turkey winger, Victor Moses ,

The Eagles coach invited  FC Midtjyland striker Paul Onuachu and Enyimba F.C defender Valentine Ozornwafor to the list of invitees.

Onuachu is currently Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe this season with 17 goals in 28 games for FC Midtjyland this season.

Rohr also included  Shanghai Shenhua striker Odion Ighalo  in attack, alongside Ahmed Musa, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Henry Onyekuru, Alex Iwobi, and Samuel Kalu.
