RCCG Comforters Assembly Embarks On Medical Outreach For Members

The Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG Comforters Assembly, Lagos Province 38, Area 3, Region 36 , on Sunday September 25th 2022,embarked on medical outreach for members of the parish.

This was in line with its monthly “Family Service”, held every last Sunday of every month.

 

The exercise which held at the church auditorium , Ikotun Lagos, witnessed medical expertise and paramedics providing health services and consultation for men,women and elderly.

 

Highpoints of the medical exercise for check up include: test on blood pressure (BP), sugar level and  glucose level etc.

 

Speaking, during the family Sunday service, Parish Pastor Muyiwa Matilukuro, called on members to prioritize their health status.

 

Pst Matilukuro admonished that members should endeavour to eat right adding that fruit intake should be encouraged during and after meals.

 

On the lifestyle habit, he reiterated that  health is wealth thus plays significant role in human life and members should ensure that they abstain from carbonated drinks and can food.

 

 

He also stated that some of the members with mild health issues  will be provided with drugs and other necessary medication , pointing out the church will support those with urgent attention.

 

He further cited the book of 3rd John 1 vs 2 as scripture backing on the sermon of the day.

 

The Area  Pastor maintained that sleeping and regular exercise play another significant role in assistng the body metabolic from diseases noting that technological devices have been manufactured  to assist those who are very busy with work activities.
