President Buhari To Dissolve Cabinet May 22

President Muhammadu Buhari will dissolve the current federal cabinet on May 22 after presiding over a valedictory Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on the day, Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, has disclosed.

Lai who spoke to State House reporters after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Vice President,  Yemi Osinbajo, said the cabinet is still intact until May 22nd.

Lai said: ” The cabinet is still intact. We are going to have the valedictory service on 22nd of May. So you will still see more of my face.”

The Nigerian President proceeds on a private visit to the United Kingdom today after departing for Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

He is expected to return to Nigeria on May 5, 2019 — 17 days before the valedictory FEC session.
