The Port & Terminal Management Academy of Nigeria (POTEMAN) has postponed its Portprenuer Conference and Award Ceremony 2026, originally set for 27–28 August.
In a statement dated 26 August 2026, the academy said the decision followed “careful consideration of prevailing circumstances” and was taken to ensure full participation and support from stakeholders, industry leaders, government agencies, corporate partners and other invited guests.
According to the statement , the event is now rescheduled to Friday, 30 October 2026 and will hold at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.
POTEMAN urged invited guests, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, nominees and award recipients to note the new date and adjust their schedules accordingly.
POTEMAN described the Portprenuer Conference and Award Ceremony as a key platform for promoting port entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, investment and professional development in Nigeria’s maritime and logistics sector. The academy said the postponement will allow additional preparations to deliver a more impactful programme.
The organisation apologized for any inconvenience caused and thanked stakeholders for their understanding and continued support.
It added that “Further details about the programme, speakers, registration, sponsorship and awards will be issued through POTEMAN’s official channels.”
