Police Arrests Ice Prince Over Alleged Assault On Officer
Rapper Ice Prince has been arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer after being stopped for driving without license.
According to the Lagos Police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the music artiste is to be arraigned today.
The Lagos State Police Command arrested popular singer, Ice Prince, following what the command says is an assault on a Police Officer.
The information about the singer’s arrest was in the early hours of Friday given by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin.

SP Hundeyin said the singer was stopped for driving without license plates but he abducted the police officer in his car and assaulted him.
Hundeyin disclosed this in a series of tweets. “At 3am today, @Iceprincezamani was stopped for driving without license plates. He agreed to be taken to the station.
“He, thereafter, abducted the police officer in his car, assaulted him, and threatened to throw him in the river. He has been arrested and would be arraigned today,” Hundeyin tweeted.
The disclosure by the Police is a far cry from the prim and proper image the Singer has cultivated but subsequent events will show what truly happened between him and the allegedly assaulted Police Officer.
