PIA: Okowa Advocates Adequate Sensitisation Of Communities By IOCs

Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has urged Oil and Gas companies in the country to sensitise host communities and stakeholders on the implementation of the Petroleum Industry Act.

Governor Okowa who was represented by the Commissioner for Oil and Gas, Prince Emman Amgbaduba stated this in his remarks at the Ogiame Atuwatse III Economic Summit which held at the Olu of Warri Palace, Aghofen-Warri.
“I want to encourage oil companies to embark on the sensitization of their host communities on the PIA with a view to strengthening ties amongst all stakeholders and oil companies  to boost oil production in the country,” Governor Okowa said.
