Oyo Flags-off Recruitment Process Into Amotekun

The Oyo state government has commenced recruitment process into the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Operation Amotekun.

The application has the Bio data form, Medical and Guarantor’s Forms. The recruitment is into the Amotekum corps but the Oyo state Government’s website did not state requirements or details of the job.

Applicants need signatory from a Village Head and Lawmaker representing the area.

Operation Amotekun is a joint security network among states in South West Nigeria aimed at protecting the region from kidnapping, banditry, rubbery other forms of criminality which peaked in the region which has plaque the region in recent times, hence complementing the role of the Nigerian police force.

Amotekun will work in synergy with the Nigerian police force to make the southwest states crime-free.

According to the 6 governors that came up with the idea, they argued that the security network will confront crimes and prevent its continuation.
