Oyebamiji Assumes Duty As 8th Managing Director/CEO Of  NIWA, Says Am A Team Player

The 8th Managing Director/CEO of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) Alh. Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji assumed duty at the Authority’s Headquarters on Monday  30th of October 2023 in Lokoja, Kogi state.
In his inaugural speech, Alh. Munirudeen thanked the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as the Hon. Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola for giving him the opportunity to serve his country in this capacity.
 He also thanked the management of the Authority for the warm reception accorded to him and his well-wishers.
Addressing staff of the Authority, he promised to have an open-door policy as a team leader and not a boss.
 He assured the union leadership of a smooth working relationship between them for the betterment of the Authority.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday last week  replaced the immediate past Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Dr. George Moghalu with Alhaji Oyebamiji.
Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji is a graduate of Banking and Finance and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Business Administration.
He is an Economist with industry experience of more than 28 years before he entered the public service.
In the public service, he first reversed the downward trajectory of the Osun State Investment Company Limited before serving as the Osun State Commissioner of Finance for eight years.
