ONDO STATE: Akeredolu Resumes Duty 14 Days After Vacation

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on Monday, April 25, 2022, resumed official duties following the expiration of his 14 days Vacation.

 

According to a statement signed by Richard Olatunde,Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State on Monday, April 25, 2022,the Governor had embarked on a 14 day vacation on April 1, 2022, as first instalment of his 2022 annual leave.

When he was away, Governor Akeredolu handed over power to his deputy, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in acting capacity.

The statement said that Arakunrin Akeredolu, whose vacation was refreshing, is better rejuvenated to continue his duties and responsibilities to the people of the Sunshine State.

Recall that some section of the media space was awash over the rumour surrounding the death of the governor.

 

The media team of the governor reacted swiftly to dismiss the reports.

 

However , Akeredolu stormed the country barely 24hours of the rumour .
