The Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom in Ondo State, HRM. Oba Rufus Akinrinmade on Saturday said the oldest monarch in Delta State, HRM. Ovie Richard Layeguen Ogbon Ogoni Oghoro I JP has produced the best wife(Olori) in the world.
The Orunja made the assertion while in company with his Olori and some Ondo Traditional rulers visited the Ohoworode of Olomu Kingdom at his palace in Ogoni-Olomu,Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The Orunja noted that he was at the palace of the Ohworode of Kingdom today without the presence of his father inlaw, Pa. Erhuemudia Moses Osadjere who in his last vist, promised to appreciate the Delta monarch with him the next time he will visit. “But you know, man proposes, Gid disposes.”
The Orunja who ascribed the thanks accorded him by the Ohworode said,”I think the thanks go to my beautiful wife, the Olori of my Kingdom. She is from this place. I can say it anywhere. You have produced the best Olori in the world.
” I want you to accept us the way we are. We are coming back. By the grace of God, we are celebrating the 103years birthday together and we will be coming in full force. We will bringing Kabiyesi’s , we will bring kabiyesi’s not for Ondo State alone but all over Nigeria.
“One thing I learn here is that, when we came in, I noticed one thing. The seat Baba is sitting on now, I notice, there was a bible on that seat and I have imbibed that. It’s good to emulate good things. Now, am taking it as a principle.
“That small chair am having in my palace, I will take it from Papa as the Orunja.
” Let me tell you, I can say the Lord is the strength of Papa. I can see Papa he was writing the other time without glasses and if you didn’t come here if someone had told you, nobody will believe it.
“Papa is as agile as 40. More grace. You will live longer and because we are here today Baba, you will not bury any of your children.
” By the time we will come for your 103 year birthday, we will meet you in good health, we will meet the kingdom in good health.
“One of the strength of Papa is the Olori. Thank you very much. Thank you indeed. That’s the words on Indianmi of Uganda.”
He also thanked the Olomu Tradutional Council of Chiefs as well.
Earlier, the oldest monarch in Delta State, HRM. Ovie Richard Layeguen Ogbon Ogoni Oghoro I JP, the Ohoworode of Olomu Kingdom presented a copy of the holy bible and a book he authored to the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom in Ondo State, HRM. Oba Rufus Akinrinmade.
The reverred monarch said wrote the book which titled,”Memories of my 100years” as part if activities marking his centenary birthday in 2017.
The Ohworode who is a Royal Canon with the Anglican Communion said there joy in knowing God and fearing him.
The Ohworode who will be celebrating his one hundred and three year birthday January 20 next year also thanked the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom and the other Ondo traditional rulers for deeming it fit to pay him visit.
