Olokola FTZ Can Position Ogun State As Major Industrial Hub In Nigeria- AFCFTA

The National Action on African  Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA)has described the Olokola Free Trade Zone as a critical investment which has the potentials of further positioning Ogun State as a major industrial hub in the country.

 

The chairman of the Committee,  Mr. Babafemi Lawal made this known during a sensitization visit to the Olokola Free Trade Zone .

 

He stressed that the renewed commitment of the the State government would ensure more attention is given to the project.

He added that the Committee was in the State to ensure government and businesses key into the various opportunities and benefits that are available through the African Free Continental Trade Agreement stressing that businesses based in the country must see the Agreement as an opportunity rather than a threat.

Lawal lauded the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration for showing committment towards the project.

 

 

Also speaking, the Chairman, Ogun Water side Local Government Area, Hon. Femi Onanuga lauded the present administration for its efforts at ensuring the project fulfills its potentials and translate into improvement in the State economy.
