Ladipo Market Is Peaceful, Calm – President General Announces

Mr Jude Chike Nwankwo, President General,  Ladipo International Market on Monday , February 27th 2023 debunked the rumour of the market being invaded over the outcome of the presidential elections in Lagos State.

Nwankwo who debunked the rumour on a video footage , maintained that the market is peaceful and calm as traders are busy with their normal trading activities , noting that there is no form of violence in the popular market.

According to him, Ladipo market is not on fire and I want to inform my members and those concern that the market is in peaceful mood

The President General further commended concerned stakeholders and well wishers for their  attention about the situation .

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had announced earlier today,  that the Labour Party LP Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi won the polls against Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu of the APC.

There were rumours that the popular Lagos auto market,  on Monday  was shut after news filtered in that some thugs loyal to the ruling party in the State, the All Progressive Congress (APC) are set to launch an attack on Igbo traders in the market over the loss suffered by the party in the State during last Saturdays Presidential election.
