“Despite the effects of #COVID19, which slowed down the pace of work by many construction companies, I am glad to note that the contractors handling housing projects in the state are doing well.

“I am impressed with the work that they are doing,” Governor Okowa said.

However, Okowa has also felicitated with the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, Governor Okowa joined the parliament, the Okpe Constituency, friends and family of the Speaker in celebrating years of remarkable accomplishments and service to the state.

‪“Rt. Hon. Oborevwori has demonstrated selflessness in his representation of his constituency and maturity in his leadership of the House — which has made the State House to pass bills early that directly impact on the lives of Deltans,” Governor Okowa said.
