While commending the development as a welcome idea which would ensure significant Naval presence in the State, the FOC expressed readiness of the Nigerian Navy to receive the State Government’s request for a full Naval base.
Past governors of the state had reaffirmed commitment for the construction of a seaport but observers believe that the Abiodun administration would flag off the groundbreaking event on the project.
