NUJ Abia Chapel Pledges Cooperation With New State Perm Sec. Ministry Of Information

The Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) Abia State Council, State Information Chapel, has joined management and staff,  Ministry of Information and Strategy,  in welcoming the newly posted Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy,  Mr. Charles Ifenkwe.
The Abia NUJ chapel executives described the posting of Ifenkwe  as timely home coming and a welcome development that will be result oriented as well as add  greater impetus to the activities of the Ministry and the State at large.

Speaking in the release, jointly endorsed by the Chairman, Information Chapel of NUJ, Abia State, Comrade Elizabeth Onyeali, and the Assistant Secretary, Comrade Deacon Nkem Onyekere, the Union noted that, the Ministry having such a thorough breed, consummate and highly cerebral journalist like Ifenkwe, as the Permanent Secretary,  has become obvious that the present administration of  Governor Alex Chioma Oti, is highly  focused and result oriented, by placing experienced professionals in line Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
The statement added that  it has become obvious that his administration is prepared and determined in taking all the sectors in the state to higher heights.
According to the release, the Union,  described the Permanent  Secretary,  as a renowned journalist , who will bring his wealth of experience to bear, aimed at reinvigorating the ministry.
The  Union, however,  assured  Mr Ifenkwe of  it’s  unwavering support towards making his tenure of office eventful, and prayed for God’s grace and guidance upon him and the ministry.
