NPA: Tin Can Port Begins Renovation Of Infrastructure

As part of measures to provide a working  conducive atmosphere for staffers and clientele, management of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Tin Can Island Port Complex (TCIPC) has commenced renovation of its edifice.

 

Aside the major building renovation, perimeter fencing, fuel dump site, electricity supply to some terminal operators and cleaning of the port access road are currently undergoing some level rehabilitation.

 

 

The building reconstruction which is expected to last eight weeks has already entered it fourth weeks.

Already the third floor of the edifice has been completed while engineers are  currently working at the fourth floor.

Our correspondent who was at the port recently confirmed that the project which was given approval headquarters of the NPA are in three phases with the project  currently in the second phase.

 

Port Manager, TCIPC , Mr. Buba Jubril in a chat commended the Koko Bello led Management team of the NPA in promoting port efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Jubril maintained that the ongoing renovation work at Tin Can Island Port is a clear indication that management is ready to provide the needed  funds to promote international trade and trade facilitation.
