Founder, New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Dr. Boniface Aniebonam has again expressed displeasure over the ill treatment from Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso to the party.
Aniebonam at a press briefing on Saturday in Lagos lamented that despite providing a platform for the former Governor of Kano State to contest with candidates like Peter Obi,Atiku Abubakar and Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election, he chose to disrespect him by claiming the party.
The party’s founder, however noted that Kwankwaso was misled by some individuals, adding that the NNPP is in hands of the rightful owners.
Aniebonam who doubles as the founder, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) also took a swipe at Buba Galadima, saying that he must have been regretting his actions by now.
He described Galadima as an unhappy individual who needs help adding that a real has to speak up and say his mind.
Aniebonam lamented that the party has spent millions of Naira on Kwankwaso noting that he failed to manage a political party that gave him the popular to contest the presidential election in 2023.
As part of efforts to embrace dialogue in furtherance to promote peace and dialogue, Aniebonam stated that:”If Kwankwaso calls for peace, it is a welcome development , he does not, no worries but for NNPP ,its no longer with him.
“I gave him status,I gave him a platform , I made him contest with great minds like Peter Obi , Atiku Abubakar and Ahmed Bola Tinubu yet he goes on air to insult my personality.
“Like I said earlier, I have forgiven Kwankwaso despite what he has done and I want to appeal to everybody that this great country belongs to all of us.”Aniebonam added.
According to the founder, NNPP is a responsible party and will continue to partner the Ahmed Bola Tinubu led government in a responsible manner towards ensuring good governance.
He stressed that NNPP is not an opposition to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC ).
He urged the governor of Kano State to ensure good governance and patronage to the people as a veritable tool for peace to reign.
He also urged members of the party and indigenous people of Kano State to embrace peace and dialogue.
