A Clergyman simply identified as Pastor Joel Uzor has assured members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) that the crisis rocking the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) would end soon thus,making the party stronger in the future.
Uzor who is the presiding pastor , Rock of Evidence Assembly disclosed this on Thursday in Lagos during a prayer session put together by members of NAGAFF for the survivor of NNPP.
During his sermon at the prayer session, the Pastor stressed that enemies of the political party would soon give way for genuine members of NNPP and as a result would bring out the best of the NAGAFF owned NNPP .
According to the Clergyman, who spoke on the topic “controversy,” reiterated that prayer was key for the survivor of NNPP , adding that the outcome of the crisis will make the party stronger.
He prophesized that NNPP will eventually come out stronger from the crisis , adding that those that are bent on destroying the party will leave peacefully without troubling genuine members of the political party , which he described as the third force in Nigeria political ecosystem.
Citing relevant scriptures on the topic tagged controversy, Pastor Uzor noted that Genesis 13 vs 1 ‘: 15, is a clear example of the topic .
He described controversy is a prolong disagreement between two or more parties, saying that the topic is as old as the earth exist.
He said in the midst of the controversy rocking NNPP, there are clear indications, God is preparing the political party for a brighter future, noting that victory is sure for the party
“Every great person should be prepared for controversies. Abraham and Lot is an example of this topic, same goes to Moses, Israel as a nation also suffered this same controversy.”
Still on controversy, Pastor Uzor quoted Romans 8 vs 31, Acts 4:15, Act 5 , Revelation 12:7-9, Matthew 12:20, etc.
He tasked NAGAFF members to pray fervently for God intervention towards a peaceful political party,.
Recall that NNPP is faced the with internal crisis.
Also speaking on the sidelines of the prayer session, Founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam described the association as a prayerful group.
Aniebonam who also doubles as the founder of the political party lamented that the rancour in NNPP is uncalled for adding that the essence of the prayers is aimed towards achieving peace.
He said God intervention in the crisis of NNPP is paramount adding that the internal crisis in the party is avoidable.
However, he assured the the crisis will soon be over and peace is a must.
