NNPC,AGIP Erect 70-Bed Isolation Centre At Stephen Keshi Stadium Delta

As part of efforts to ensure that there are a sufficient number of beds for #COVID19 patients in Delta State, a total of 70-bed isolation centre was established at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba by oil majors operating in the state.

The Secretary to the Delta State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie, and the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mordi Ononye, disclosed that NNPC, AGIP and other partners helped to erect the isolation centre at the stadium.

“With the way the virus is spreading, government cannot handle it alone.

Corporate organisations have come to render assistance.

NNPC/AGIP galvanised other oil companies to provide this facility,” the SSG said.

Meanwhile, citizens and residents of the State are urged to obey the directives that have been put in place by the Delta State Government to check the spread of #COVID19.
