The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Chapter ,National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has been ejected from its secretariat by owners of the property .
Our correspondent who visited the chapter on Thursday, noticed that the structure warehousing the association chapter executives has been demolished , even as it was gathered that owners of the facility has sold the property.
It was also gathered that the occupants of the facility had issued a one year notice of eviction to all occupants of the property.
Insider source explained that some of the tenants are allegedly adamant to shop of new accommodation within the vicinity.
When contacted , Mr. Ossy Nnam Secretary NAGAFF KLT Chapter who spoke to our correspondent who further confirmed that the chapter is working round the clock to secure a benefitting secretariat for members adding that “We are not look for anyhow place as secretariat because we all know NAGAFF is a brand and we must get an apartment that befits our status.
Nnam who also corroborated the one year eviction notice by owners of the properties ,added that executives of NAGAFF at KLT Chapter are on the matter hence, that there is no cause for alarm on the issue of accomodation.
The NAGAFF KLT Chapter is situated at number #15 Ayinde Faloye Close, Kirikiri Town in Lagos.
The NAGAFF KLT Chapter has Engr. Emmanuel Umadi as chairman.
