MWUN Congratulates New Registrar Of CRFFN, Pledges Support To Kingsley Igwe ‘s Led Mgt

The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria MWUN has congratulated the newly appointed Registrar, Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN), Kingsley Igwe on his appointment.
Igwe , National Secretary, National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) was appointment by President Bola Tinubu on the 30th of October 2024.
A congratulatory letter signed by Comrade Oniha Erazua, Deputy Secretary General of MWUN on Monday 4th November 2024, described the appointment as a testament of exceptional leadership qualities and vast knowledge of the sub sector.
The letter stated that the foremost Union has keenly followed Igwe ‘s progress and wealth of knowledge in industry based issues thus has no doubt of his competence and expertise.
According to the letter, MWUN looks forward to work with the new Registrar of the council adding that the union will engage CRFFN on meaningful dialogues that would strengthen collaboration between both organizations.
The letter further wished the new Registrar of a successful tenure that would foster a greater stakeholders synergy that will add value to the maritime sector.
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, approved the appointment of a substantive Registrar/CEO, Igwe Kingsley Onyekachi.
His appointment, as contained in a press statement dated October 30th, 2024 and signed by Muhammad Tahir Zakari,
Head, Press & PR of Federal Ministry of marine and blue economy, was part of efforts to reposition the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) for better efficiency and management.
He takes over from the acting Registrar/CEO, Mrs. Chinyere Uromta.
