Mixed Martial Art Fighter Conor McGregor Eyes WWE Future

Controversial Irish  athlete, Conor McGregor has indicated interest  about appearing in World Wrestling Entertainment ( WWE )in the future, following the outcome Wrestlemania 35.

It’s not the first time that McGregor has spoken about the WWE, but it is undoubtedly the most positive he has been.

In 2016, McGregor was asked about the WWE roster and his response was emphatic.

“Yeah – they’re dweebs,” McGregor claimed. “The whole lot of them.”

Recall that the Irishman took to Twitter in March to announce his retirement from the ‘the sport formally known as ‘Mixed Martial Art’, but has continuously dropped hints of a comeback, after being involved in online altercations with Paulie Malignaggi and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

However, the 30-year-old has now seemingly turned his attention to WWE, congratulating those involved in Wrestlemania 35, including compatriot Becky Lynch.

He then ended the message with a tantalising rhetorical question that has his whole fanbase talking.

“Congrats to Irelands Becky Lynch, the WWE’s first Champ Champ. Wow,” McGregor tweeted.

“What a match these ladies put on! Ronda Rousey is something special in that ring, as is Charlotte Flair of the Flair dynasty.

The Irishman then responded to a question about whether he would ever be involved in the WWE, stating: “Maybe as CEO – maybe to take Vince out of the chair. But I don’t know.”

McGregor’s opinions on the WWE seem to have changed from then and this latest development adds to the developing relationship between the WWE and UFC.

Back in October 2018, Nurmagomedov revealed on Twitter that Vince McMahon had made him an offer to fight in the WWE.

“WWE ask me to jump inside. What do you guys think? #SmashLesnar #FakeFights”.

Stephanie McMahon you are right, I could not do what these athletes do.
