Micura Services Limited (MSL) has signed a new contract to provide stevedoring services at Niger Dock (ND ) Multipurpose Terminal FZE, the flagship operational terminal within Nigerdock’s expanded Snake Island Port development.
This was disclosed on the official website of the foremost stevedoring company recently.
The agreement positions MSL to handle loading, unloading, and cargo operations at the Snake Island Integrated Free Zone.Under the contract, MSL will offer full stevedoring services aligned with international maritime standards, emphasizing safety through certified supervisors, trained dockworkers, and strict adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
The company will also follow documented procedures to minimize risks to personnel and cargo.
This partnership strengthens Micura’s presence in the Lagos maritime corridor and underscores its long-standing commitment to safe and efficient cargo handling across Nigerian ports.
Key responsibilities for Micura under the agreement include vessel loading and unloading, dock labor coordination, safe cargo handling, daily operational reporting, and compliance with terminal policies and industry regulations.
By enhancing operational efficiency and safety, the collaboration supports the terminal’s goal of greater reliability and productivity.
