MAY DAY: Micura Celebrates Maritime Stakeholders, Labour Workers

 

Foremost stevedoring, outsourcing and equipment leasing firm, Micura Services Limited, has extended warm greetings to all workers globally and locally in line with the May Day celebration.

Chief Executive Officer , High Chief Michael Orobosa Ubogu, in a solidarity message to maritime stakeholders commended the resilient spirit of workers in spite of daunting odds , even as he called on them to uphold and celebrate the dignity of labour, adding that every legitimate job is intrinsic to the quest to build a vibrant society.

The Micura boss while felicitating with workers on the occasion of the International Workers Day enjoined them to continue to amplify the virtues of hard work and excellence in the course of their duties.

” No doubt, the most important resource in the world is labour. It is a sine qua non for life and humanity in general as workers nurture dreams to reality,โ€ MSL boss said.

The Maritime mogul urged employers of labour to continue to give topmost priorities to the welfare of employees with a view to stimulating enhanced productivity.

“The theme of this yearโ€™s celebration, “People first” is very apt and underscores the importance of peace and health as prerequisite for sustainable development.”,he added.
