Madoxx Projects Gets Commendations Over Evacuation Of Waste In Delta State

Stakeholders have continued to commend the massive waste and heaps of refuse evacuation by management of Madoxx Projects in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Recall that apparently determined to ensure a safer and cleaner environment , operatives of Madoxx Projects completed the evacuation of refuse dumps and other offensive waste within Effurun Roundabout in Uvwie LGA of Delta State, south south Nigeria.

Speaking after the completion of the project recently , Chief Executive Officer, Madoxx Projects, Mr . Sunny Avra Onoriobe disclosed that the exercise was in collaboration with the Delta State Waste management Board and Uwie Local Government Council in Delta State.

Onoriobe reiterated that the work was carried out as part of the Companies Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)to his immediate environment, hence humanitarian gesture to the State with consideration of the strategic nature of the roundabout to the face of the state.

He added Uvwie LG deserves to be cleaner and safer for both the indigenes and passers-by

Onoriobe who harped on measures to carry out effective environmental sanitation, noted that the position of the age long wastes were strategically positioned within the entry points into Delta State.

He described the wastes as embarrassment and an eyesore to the Local Government Area.

The Maddox Projects boss further noted that clean up of the areas aforementioned, will further bring out the aesthetics of Effurun Roundabout .

However, speaking against the backdrop of the development, a cross section of stakeholders and road users have lauded effort of the clean up exercise embarked by the Company.

According to a taxi driver within the axis, who also identified himself as Odafe Benson noted that Maddox Projects management performed magic over the sudden disappearance of the heaps of refuse along Sapele Road and Effurun axis.

Odafe explained that the massive waste along the axis was an eyesore to the State, even as he described it as a national embarrassment.

The driver stressed the need for constant evacuation of waste within the axis pointing out that failure to do so would lead to health hazards and other epidemic if not properly curbed.

Similarly, Ugochukwu Ezisi, a Contactor , commended the company ‘s intervention of waste evacuation urging the government to empower Madoxx Projects in a bid to sustain the good work carried out , thus to keep the community cleaner .

Ezisi affirmed that ” Company like Maddox should be encouraged to do more, adding that ” Government needs to empower them the more”

Segun Oladipupo, a tourist and a journalist expressed satisfaction over the sudden disappearance of the age long wastes within the axis stressing the need for Delta State government to extend the exercise to such areas where waste are located within the metropolis.

Fredrick Ochei , a resident of Warri in Delta State , on his part, commended management of Maddox Projects for the initiative saying that the humanitarian services and CRS would further beautify the community.

He called on government to encourage the company in furtherance to ensure a cleaner and safer environment in Delta State

He noted that with the development, the community is gradually developing into an international city , pointing out the need for government to partner with the company as part of measures to optimally sustain the progress recorded within the metropolis.
