LATE KIDNAPPER, E-MONEY’S 13 BUILDINGS, 10 CARS AND OTHER PROPERTIES TO BE FORFEITED TO THE FG

A Federal High Court sitting in Owerri has ordered a forfeiture of properties confiscated from late kidnapper, Collins Ezenwa popularly known as E-Money to the Federal Government.

 

Collins was killed in a gun duel with operatives of the Imo State Police Command, where he had gone to abduct a businessman in January 2018.

It was gathered that the billionaire kidnapper acquired many properties with the proceeds from kidnapping and robbery in the South-East and South-South states.

13 buildings, 10 cars, 2 tippers, a trailer truck and 3 AK-47 assault rifles were recovered by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT) from the notorious kidnapper.

The court ordered that any person who has property(ies) belonging to the late kidnapper in his or her possession should appear before it within the next 30 days, to show why such property should not be forfeited to the Federal Government.
