The commemoration of the day serves as another reminder to everyone about how best to lead an impactful life for the good of humanity,” the Governor said in a statement on Thursday.

“As the Muslim community commemorates the birth of the prophet, it is important that we take full advantage of what the noble messenger of God bequeathed to humanity in law, ethics, manners and relationships with fellow human beings. in a statement , Thursday said the “State government is aware of some hitches in the payment of salary for civil servants at the state level for October.

The hitches, and some accompanying issues such as non-deduction of some statutory dues like labour union check-up dues, are due to a change in the payment platform technology/software.

The whole essence of the platform switch is to ensure more efficiency and integrity of the payroll in the overall interest of the state. Efforts are already being made to address the issues.
