KIDNAPPING: Siasia Begs Buhari To Assist On Abducted Mother

Former Super Eagles player and Coach, Samson Siasia has said that only President Muhammadu Buhari can assist him to rescue his kidnapped mother.

Recall that Mrs Ogere Siasia, 76, and two others were held captive by suspected kidnappers  in Bayelsa State, southern Nigeria ten weeks ago.

The Africa Cup of Nations  1994 Gold medalist winning forward who said this in an interview with BBC, added in  another radio interview that  he was in touch two weeks ago with the minister of youth and sport, Sunday Dare, for assistance, but  got no response.

The former Nigerian coach said he is still in the dark as to the whereabouts of his abducted mother.

Siasia alleged that the police has lost hope to finding her ,pointing out “The police said it’s been difficult to track these kidnappers, but my great concern is that my mother is very sick.

“For someone who is unwell to be held against her will is not only callous, but heartbreaking and sad, the ex Eagles Coach noted.
