JUST IN: Another Member Of Wadume’s Gang Nabbed By Police

The Inspector General of Police’s Intelligent Response Team (IRT) has successfully apprehended another gang member of the Taraba Kidnap Kingpin, Hamisu Balla popularly known as ‘Wadume’.

Sources report that the home of suspect was busted in the early hours of Sunday in Wukari area of Taraba state by a detachment of operatives of IRT drawn from units across the country.

With this current arrest, six members of the gang are now in the custody of the police with several arms recovered.

The IRT headed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abba Kyari also recovered 13 vehicles and identified over 20 houses allegedly owned by the kidnap kingpin.

Wadume has made startling confessions since arrested by the Police while Nigerians are keenly waiting for the submission of report by the seven-man investigative panel probing the killing of three policemen.
