IYC Issues 14 Days Ultimatum For Dowen College To Produce Killers Of Sylvester Oromoni Jr

The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Lagos Chapter and it’s Chairman, Comrade Henry Oyobolo has issued fourteen uItimatum to the Management of Dowen College Lekki Lagos to produce the killers of Master Chidalu Sylvester Oromoni jr and also tell the whole world the truth and the circumstance that led to the untimely death of the 12 years old student.

 

Recall that Master Chidalu Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. was alleged killed by students of the school over refusal to join their cult group,

 

The Ijaw Youths Council has called on management of the school to bring those behind the devish act to face the full wrath of the law.

Speaking in a statement on Saturday, the Chairman noted that “As the chairman of IYC Lagos Chapter all the Ijaw youths and students in Lagos is under my watch, myself and members of the Council cannot fold our arms and watch this devish and barbaric act metted on an innocent 12 years old Ijaw son because he refused to join a secret cult and he has to pay with his life.

 

Any attempt by the Management of Dowen College Lekki Lagos to cover this devish act or refusal to hand over the named suspects (students) to face justice will be resisted by the Ijaw Nation using all available legal means in our disposal to bring them to book.

“We the IYC Lagos Chapter is also using this medium to call on our dynamic and proactive Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Babatunde San-owo Olu, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, Director of Department of States Security Services (DSS) Lagos State Command and all other relevant Security Agencies to handle this case of the murder of Master Chidalu Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. with outmost caution and professionalism because IYC Worldwide and the Ijaw Nation is watching and monitoring this case with much interest.

 

“We have enough evidence to prove beyond every reasonable doubt that our son was murdered in cold blood.

“After the fourteen (14) days ultimatum which takes effect from the 6th of December, 2021 expires.

 

“The Commissioner of Police, Director of DSS and other Security Agencies should hold the Management of Dowen College Lekki Lagos responsible for any break down of law and order in the state.

 

Lastly, “The IYC Lagos Chapter wants to state it very clearly that no person, group or organisation under any guise can threaten or intimidate any ijaw son or daughter any where in this country. The Ijaw Nation have the capacity to protect her own anywhere in the country.”
