Igbo Lawmaker ” Idimogu ” Expresses Shock Over Late Jakande’s Demise
Hon Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu, has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of the former Governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande who just passed on recently.
In a statement signed by his SA on Media and Publicity, Mr Henry Uzodinma, commiserated with the family of the late former Governor, the government and the good people of Lagos State over the colossal loss.
The story reads, with profound condolences, I write to Commiserate with the entire family of Late Chief Lateef Jakande and the good people of Lagos State over the death of our beloved father and Mentor who died after a brief illness.
“Late Chief Lateef Jakande was an embodiment of good governance, an astute politician and a bridge builder, who was loved by all that came in contact with him. His death had really created a huge vacuum which would be difficult to fill” Idimogu opined.
Idimogu, further recalled the happy moments he had with the late sage when he was alive, most especially when he organized a football tournament at Jakande Estate recently.
“Late Lateef Jakande’s death is shocking and a painful loss to Lagos State and Nigeria in general, he will be greatly missed by all of us in this State” Idimogu said.
The Igbo Lawmaker prayed that God almighty will comfort his family, loved ones and grant them the fortitude to bear the Irreparable loss.
