Group Expresses Satisfaction Over  Sanwo Olu  Inaugural Speech

Apparently excited with the performance and delivery , the ” Ikales in Lagos Forum “has expressed satisfaction over the inaugural speech of the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo Olu and his deputy Obafemi Hamzat .

Speaking with newsmen,  shortly after the ceremony, on Wednesday, Chairman of the forum ,Otunba Sola Olatunji  stated that the speech by the governor would  mark the beginning of a new era in governance  , adding that Lagosians should expect massive transformation in the state called “centre of excellence.”
He affirmed that with the passion and  dexterity from the governor in his inaugural speech speaks volume of what to expect in the area of infrastructural advancement and development for the state.
The  Chairman said history will be recorded under the administration of Sanwo Olu and his Deputy Hamzat , thus breaking new records from previous administration in achieving the “next level” slogan put in place by the All Progressive Congress
He urged  the  governor and his deputy to seek audience from past administration as a veritable tool to run an all inclusive government , pointing out that experience has always been the best teacher in all ramifications of human endeavours.
Olatunji said with the new administration and leadership of Lagos State ,the future is brighter for children and youths in the state.
While citing references to the governor’s speech, Olatunji who is also the Managing Director, Victory Energy Resources Limited ,” I totally support the area where he (Sanwo Olu) mentioned ” my goal  is to advance the social and economic progress of this state and its people; regardless of your faith, social class, or your origin of birth.  ” adding that ” Sanwo Olu point will tell us that irrespective of the fact that you are not from the state or Yoruba; we all have a stake in the government.
He stressed that all hands must be on deck to ensure” Lagos must rise again’ and help lead this nation to fuller progress and to a closer realization of the greatness that exists within all Nigerians. “
While harping on the need for continuity in the new government, Otunba Olatunji also called on the governor to ensure that abandoned projects by past administrations should be revisited as way of providing succour for  communities in need.
Olatunji, however noted that:”We are delighted to be part of this government and we shall continue to support them with prayers.
“On behalf of the Ikales in Lagos forum, we are grateful to everyone that made the inauguration of Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu, the new governor of Lagos State and his deputy ,Dr Femi Hamzat a huge success.”
