The Governor  complemented the security agencies for working in unison to this milestone.

Recall that penultimate week, His Excellency had accompanied the Chief of Policy and Plans, Nigerian Navy to inspect the site for the Nigeria Navy Base, Oguta Imo State. At that outing, His Excellency commended the Nigeria Navy for the decision to go on with the Imo State Command.

The Governor noted with bitterness the increased illegal bunkering along the coasts of Imo State and hoped that the establishment of the Navy Base would aid in curbing the crime.

This record breaking achievement complements the Government’s efforts in arresting the ugly situation that has for a long while decomposed our national and state economy.
