Gov Makinde Presents N266.6bn For 2021 Budget, Allocates 21% To Education
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has presented a budget of #266, 664, 273, 205 as 2021 budget on the floor of Oyo state House of Assembly.
The presentation was made on Monday, November 23, where the Governor said that the capital expenditure would have 53.2percent of the total budget.
Tagged ‘Budget of Continued consolidation’, Governor Makinde said the budget is N12bn Naira above last year’s budget.

According to him, the recurrent expenditure is N136, 262,990 while the capital expenditure is N130, 381, 56b 348.
The Governor also said 21% of the budget would be allocated to the education sector of the state.
He commended the lawmakers for their supports and promised continuous collaboration with the lawmakers.
