Gov. Eno Directs Demolition Of Illegal Structures Along Airport Road In Akwa Ibom State

Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno has ordered the immediate demolition of structures duly evaluated and compensated that occupy the right of way on the Airport Road expansion project.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, accompanied by his Deputy, Her Excellency, Dr Akon Eyakenyi ; Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah and other top government functionaries, on Tuesday embarked on tour of government facilities and projects.

Facilities visited include ; Administrative Block in Government House, Uyo, The Ibom E- Library along IBB Avenue, Uyo ; Wet And Dry Park at Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Center ; On-going Road Expansion Project along Airport Road, Uyo ; Nsit Atai-Okobo Road project ; One Thousand Capacity Hotel at the Ibom Tropicana Entertainment Center and 21 Storey Smart Building at Banking Layout, Uyo.
Recall that the Akwa Ibom State government had condemned the rising illegal structures in the State, warning that it would no longer give notice before demolishing such unauthorized structures.
