Gov Bello reaffirms commitment to supporting sociocultural groups 

Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has reaffirmed his commitment towards supporting sociocultural groups in the state in order to preserve its cultural heritage for the next generation.

 

Governor Bello gave the assurance on Sunday when some Ebira Cultural Music Legendaries paid him a homage in Government House in Lokoja to celebrate his recent victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primaries.

“Since inception, it has been the tradition of my administration in allowing equal opportunity to all ethnic groups across the three senatorial districts in the scheme of things,” he said.

According to him, more opportunities would be created by the government for the discovery of talents and possible assistance to launch such individuals/cultural troops into stardom.

 

Governor Bello while commending them for their contributions to the development of their fatherland through the use of cultural music to promote peaceful coexistence, reassured of government’s commitment to the people’s welfare.
