Gov. Badaru Makes Case On Security Challenges In Northern Nigeria With President Elect

Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has disclosed numerous security challenges facing the northern region of the country with President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu during a trip they both took.

Auwal D. Sankara , Commissioner Special Duties, Jigawa State, who disclosed this over the weekend in a statement, said the discussion revolved around the development of the northern part of the country and ways to overcome the security challenges that have been plaguing the nation.

During the meeting, Governor Abubakar highlighted the need for more development in the northern part of the country.

The Governor also spoke about the need for improved security measures in the country.

He expressed concern over the rising insecurity and the devastating impact it has had on the lives and livelihoods of people in the country.

President-elect Tinubu, on his part, commended Governor Abubakar for his commitment to the development of Jigawa State and the northern region.

He also acknowledged the security challenges facing the country and promised to take urgent steps to address them.

The meeting between Governor Abubakar and President-elect Tinubu has been widely praised by many Nigerians. They believe that such meetings and discussions are necessary for the development and progress of the country.
