General Hospital Apapa Holds 2025 Annual Retreat , With Focus On Port City Healthcare Service Provider

 

 

The General Hospital Apapa on Thursday held its annual management retreat with the theme, The metamorphosis of General Hospital Apapa into port city Hospital a new Era of Excellence in service delivery.

According to a statement by Michael Oputeh, Public Relations Officer of the hospital on Saturday,the event attended by Professor Lere Baale who delivered the key note lecture, while heads departments, units and members of staff, focus on how to repositioning the Facility to a fully Healthcare delivery service provider.

Welcoming participants and acknowledging the presence of esteemed special guest, the Medical Director, Chief Executive Officer , Dr. Lateefat Omolara Agbaje, expressed gratitude for their support, sense of dedication and due diligence.

The CEO, expressed appreciation to the participants who also doubled as the management team and heads of departments of various units in the hospital, but pointed out that they need not rest on their oars but strive hard to raise the bar of the facility, at least to be positioned as a fully Healthcare delivery service provider.

In as much, the medical director commended the management and their contributions to the facility which without being economical with the truth were actualised by all of them present at the retreat , but added that “we need to be truthful to ourselves that we need to work harder to ensure that the facility fully positioned into port city Hospital and a new Era of Excellence in healthcare service provider.

“Let’s build medical professionalism and ensure Port city Hospital of our dream is achieved, Dr. Agbaje said.

The Medical Director commended Dr. MacLawrence Famuyiwa who took the participants through the review of the hospital’s internal environment, strength, weakness, opportunity and threats.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kekere Ekun, analysis the hospital’s external environment on politics, economic, social and technological factors and Dr. Adebayo also enlightened the participants on the facility Goals in line with its mission and vision statement.
