FRCN To Upgrade Academy’s Infrastructure, Advocates Alumni Office Establishment

NationalBroadcast Academy  , the training arm of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), has reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading of infrastructure for a better conducive learning environment .

Director General FRCN, Dr. Mansur Liman gave the assurances in his remarks during the closing  ceremony of 2022 Intermediate session of the NBA , on Friday May 26 in Lagos.

In furtherance to turn out more professionals to boost the broadcast  industry with a charge to uphold professionalism, Liman urged  them to always apply their newly acquired skills efficiently and professionally in various operational areas they occupy in the industry.

Dr. Mansur who was represented by Director National Broadcast Academy, Mr. Ike Okere, promised that the training institution would continue to maintain its lead by imparting appropriate values and standards in the participants through its training programmes.

While addressing the students on his part Okere, enjoined them to use their professional skills and channels to create more awareness among the citizens and mobilize them for national development.

Okere said the Academy would not relent in its drive to train the needed manpower for the ever expanding broadcast industry in the country.

The Director promised that the Alumni Office of the Academy would be established to engage the old students in mutually beneficial relations with their professional colleagues and the school.

In a remark, the Director Academic Planning, Mr Ayodele Aliyu said the training had equipped the participants with necessary skills to handle operational and professional challenges in the broadcast profession.

On the current electioneering leading on to the 2023 General Election, Mr. Aliyu reminded the participants of their critical roles in the democratic process.

Apparently satisfied with the programme , a cross section of the participants expressed positive remarks with the training even as they promised to put their professional skills to practice.
