Foundation Marks 3rd Anniversary , Harps On Youth Participation In Curbing Drug Abuse, Trafficking

The Anti-Drug Impact Foundation has marked its 3rd year anniversary amidst glitz and glamour, urging Nigerian youths to join force with the body to curb drug trafficking and abuse for the society .

The 3rd year anniversary of Anti-Drug Impact Foundation was held on the 13th of February, 2024.

Speaking at the occasion held in Lagos, Founder of the organization, Comrade Olayiwola Ibrahim while giving thanks to Almighty God and a heartfelt appreciation on a milestone to parents, lecturers, mentors, who significantly contributed to the realization of the Foundation Vision and Mission.

While celebrating the evening to explore the critical topic of Community Support for Substance Abuse Recovery in our Youths, Ibrahim noted that the stakeholders unwavering support and patience have been invaluable.

Speaking further on the theme “Community support for substance Abuse Recovery in Our Youths, Ibrahim said youths must be allowed to brainstorm and design their anti substance abuse strategies and execute them.

He stated that examining these outcome from the strategies will boost their confidence and encourage them to design solutions for other challenges in society.

The Founder encouraged all community leaders, teachers, religious leaders, guardians and parents to spread this awareness to friends and family members on increasing the overall knowledge about drugs and substance abuse in the community.

Amidst the celebration, he emphasized on the involvement of Anti-Drug Impact Foundation to youths, in community anti substance abuse Campaigns and Educative programs to schools, to communities, religious houses, virtual lectures on social medias, and workshop seminars by giving them a sense of Agency and responsibility in solving various societal problems which will help keep develop skills, build self esteem in making them understanding huge difference in their communities.

In his remarks, he appreciated the NDLEA Agency, NAFDAC, Lagos State Government, as well as other private companies towards there contributions and also implore all parents to engage dedicate passions in educating there children on effects and consequences of drug abuse, create time for them, be there companion as a good parents.
