Export Laden Container Vehicles Flood Apapa Corridor In LASTMA Traffic Update

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Friday, said exports laden container vehicles are commonly visible on queue linking the Lagos Port Complex (LPC) from Marine bridge.

LASTMA in its traffic update as at 9.30am stated that traffic is looking very good in the whole of Apapa and Ajegunle respectively.

According to the update :”The stretch of Wharf Road from NAGAFF to Area B/ Point Road intersection to Airways down to Eleganza roundabout down to Wharf Ports gate is good to go.

“So also from Eleganza roundabout to Etisalat roundabout down to Mr. Biggs is also good to go.

“We only have Exports loaded containers trucks on one lane from Airways.

Return journey on the stretch of Wharf Road to connect Marine Beach bridge to Ijora Bridge outward journey Apapa is also good to go.

On the Ajeromi Ifelodun stretch, linking Apapa, it explained that “Mobil road to connect Marine Beach intersection is good to go,

Return journey from Marine bridge inward Ajegunle is also good to go, adding that “Vehicular movement out of Apapa from Point road through the Marine bridge to connect both Ijora and Iganmu is very appreciable at the moment.

Primarily, it noted that”Ijora Oloopa to connect High bridge is good to go, pointing out that

“Descending the High bridge inward Total has slight delay as result of Tankers moving inward Total under bridge.

It added that “From Sifax, there are Tankers occupying one lane while the other lane is slow but moving inward Total up, stressing, that”From Total up on Marine bridge has good movement on both lane inward Area B.”
