EXPIRED PEAK MILK: LASCOPA Vows To Unravel Source Of  Products

The Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA), has declared its readiness to unravel the source of the product sold by the suspect.

 

Recall that a viral online video of a middle-aged man was apprehended by concerned citizens for selling hazardous and expired evaporated Peak Milk at Ibidun Street in Ojuelegba, Surulere in Lagos.

A release signed by the General Manager of the Agency, Afolabi Solebo said the case has already been reported at the Area C Police Station where the culprit is being detained while investigations are ongoing.

Solebo reiterated the determination of the Agency to see the case to a conclusive end and ensure that all those involved are prosecuted to the full extent of the Law.

 

The General Manager gave assurance that LASCOPA remains committed to protecting the public against the consumption of hazardous and expired products in the State.
