Empowerment, Scholarship Top Hon. Idimogu Achievements In 4 Years

Empowerment projects and scholarships awarded to youths , women and men topped some of the numerous achievements of lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II, of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Chukwuemeka Omobowale Idimogu in the last four years under the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Idimogu had equally made significant impact to touch lives of those within his communities under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) between 2015 – 2019 before cross carpeting to the ruling APC.
The Lagos based Politician who reiterated that the his immediate constituents wanted him to continue the good jobs done so far thus the need to re-contest the post in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
Idimogu who spoke with some journalists in Lagos recently , maintained that aside the empowerment and scholarship projects, the masses are more interested in “Stomach Infrastructure”, which according to him, has made the name “Idimogu ” a brand within his immediate localities.
According to him, other achievements in the last four year under the APC representing Oshodi Isolo Constituency in the 9th Assembly includes: job placement, sponsoring of bills that were passed into laws , road Infrastructure, renovation of both primary and secondary schools and upgrading of health facilities within the communities.
Others include; transformer installations and talent hunts for youths.
Though the lawmaker explained that the projects were not for record purposes, he noted that there were more undocumented achievements than those recorded .
While assuring the constituent of continuity ahead of the 2023 general elections , the Igbo lawmaker affirmed that government has to do with dividend of democracy adding that there are fresh ideas on how to impact more in the lives of people in the communities.
He stated that: ” The issue of employment is just too many to tackle . Things are difficult this time around and since I have been there as honourable representative in the Lagos House of Assembly is to do my best. The salary may not be attractive but it is better to get something doing to support yourself, family and contribute to the state economy growth.
“Aside that , motions that I have moved in the house speaks for themselves. There are bills that we are to upgrade to meet with the reality of lives.
“I really want to do more for my people, I want to perform because I am responsible to my people and I must continue to associate with my brothers and sisters to make things work for all of us”.
Similarly, the member representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II, in the Lagos State also made his intention known to the Constituents and Party leaders to re-contest for re-election into his current position in the Lagos State House of Assembly to complete his second term in APC come 2023, saying “We can’t afford to substitute a winning team.”
According to a statement on Friday, April 15th 2022, said “In the parliamentary business, ranking status is a precious privilege to both the members and his/her constituents.
“That is why the ranking status in our Parliamentary houses are so much desired.
“Going back to the Lagos House of Assembly, Idimogu will be returning as a ranking member and that will spell lot of goodies for Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II.
“Oshodi/Isolo II is a crucial Constituency and we cannot afford to engage in any trial and error to avoid a repeat of what happened in the past.”
