ELECTION 2023: APC Feeling Insecure – NNPP Ikorodu Candidate

The candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has described the recent removal and destruction of the party and candidate’s posters as evidence of the ruling party heading into 2023 elections feeling insecure.

According to a statement from Hon. Adekunle Razaq Aderibigbe , New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Candidate,Ikorodu 1 Constituency,

Lagos State House of Assembly, “It is a pity that the ruling party feels very insecure considering the state of the affairs and how the candidates of the party are struggling to occupy and grab attention of the electorates by all means to the point that they try to remove, destroy and paste their posters and banners on other candidates’ or party’s posters.

“Is it not rather shameful that the resources that the ruling party ought to be investing in infrastructures or other social projects and programmes is what they are spending to do publicity, to print and post posters and banners? If they have done so well, their score card should be sufficient to retain or return the party to the public office.

“We want to use this medium to appeal to the ruling party to focus on the governance and service to the people as their major responsibility rather than trying to block the emerging favourite party and candidates. If they have served the people judiciously, there would be no rooms for alternatives.

“We want to also use this medium to appeal to Nigerians who had registered, especially those that registered this year to ensure they all go out to collect their PVCs next week before the deadline and come out enmasse to vote wisely, “he added.
