Drama as Atiku’s lawyers brought a 48-inch Samsung Television to the court

Atiku’s lawyers brought a 48-inch Samsung Television to the court to play their tapes. Buhari’s Lawyer sought to cross examine Segun Showunmi with a CD of a interview by an INEC official through the equipment brought by the petitioner. His lawyers switched off the TV.

 

Atiku’s lawyer then said to Buhari’s lawyer…

“You may show the witness the CD, but what I object to is to play the CD on my equipment.”

When asked why, he said the CD from Buhari’s lawyer may contain a virus that will damage his Samsung TV.

The court decided to adjourn so that Buhari’s lawyer can bring his own equipment to conduct his cross examination of Atiku’s spokesman.
