Delta State Govt Denies Sales Of Lagos Liaison Office
The Delta state government on Wednesday , dismissed allegations of selling one of its assets which is the liaison Office in Lagos .
Speaking, during a press conference, the Delta State Government denied allegations that it had sold the Liaison Office in Lagos and clarified that the property was being redeveloped by property developers to add more value to the state.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, explained that the government had entered into a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement with property developers and managers to construct a 10-story building consisting of 60 luxury flats, which would generate additional revenue for the government.

He said”The government initially intended to construct a 21-story building but was unable to obtain approval due to a history of building collapses in the area.
“Eventually, the government received approval to construct a 10-story building.
Delta State Information Commissioner, described the rumour as an act by mischief makers seeking to score cheap political points.
He also urged Deltans to deepen their support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by voting for Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to sustain the democracy and tempo of development in the state.
