Delta State Government Reopens Warri,Sapele,Benin Highway

The Delta State Government on Friday, reopened the Warri/Sapele/Benin Federal highway which was shut down for reconstruction.

This fulfils the State Government’s promise to commuters to reopen the road before Saturday.

According to the official twitter handle @DSGovernment, the Okowa led Government also commended the contractor working on the road, Obakpor J.U. Construction, for it’s commitment and sacrifice — which has led to the punctual reopening of the highway.

The State Government also commends Deltans and other road users for their patience and cooperation while the federal highway was closed. It added that : “Effective tomorrow, work will commence on the other side of the road.”
